Profile
Born and raised in China, Mao attended college in the US. He moved to Japan after graduation, drawn by his love of Japanese culture, where he started with the SoftBank Group. There, he worked on new business development and US public equity investment before joining SoftBank Vision Fund’s Japan Team. He was involved in both early-stage and growth-stage equity investment in Japan.
Mao joined Globis Capital Partners in February 2022.
Mao graduated summa cum laude from Minerva University with dual degrees in Computer Science & Finance.
