Mr. Soichi Kariyazono is a founding Partner of Apax Globis Japan Fund and Globis Fund III. Mr. Kariyazono joined Globis Corporation in 1996 and was fund manager of the firm's first venture capital fund, Globis Incubation Fund. Prior to joining Globis, Mr. Kariyazono worked for the Management Consulting Division of Sanwa Research Institute Corporation where he was involved in strategic development and implementation support of mid-sized Japanese businesses. Mr. Kariyazono has authored 3 Japanese books on entrepreneurial strategy.
Mr. Kariyazono received a BA in Law from Keio University in Japan and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Business.
