Globis Incubation Fund (GIF)

GIF was established in 1996 as the first venture capital fund in Japan that incubated startups with JPY 540 million. The fund invested in 13 companies, which resulted in 4 successful IPOs. Example of the investee companies are below:

	Dream Corporation Opened the first authentic bagle chain "Bagle & Bagle," and extended into "B&B kitchen" and "B&B cafe" in the metropolitan Tokyo area
	Works Applications Develops ERP software package for large Japanese corporations. The company went IPO in December 2001 on JASDAQ (4329)
	Tokyo Kobetsu Shido Gakuin Provides personalized education services. The company went IPO in March 2000 on JASDAQ(4745)
	ngi group Incubates e-businesses. The company went IPO on Mothers in August 2006(2497)
	Fisco Provides real-time financial information. The company went IPO on Hercules in June 2006 (3755)
